Founded in 2004, the Korean Music Therapy Education Association (KOMTEA) is a nonprofit scholarly organization with the mission to promote education related to the therapeutic applications of music. KOMTEA is devoted to developing and disseminating research in music therapy and related interdisciplinary fields, organizing academic conferences, and publishing the association’s academic journal. The KOMTEA also aims to promote national and international collaboration in its endeavors.
