Guidelines for Authors(in Brief) 

Manuscript

Original papers are typically 15 ~ 20 pages in length (A4 size)

Original papers significantly longer than 20 pages should be discussed with the editor prior to submission and will be considered at the discretion of the editor/editorial committee.

The content of the manuscript should represent the highest standards of research design and scholarly writing.

Manuscripts must conform with the style of the latest Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.

Authors should ensure that the academic content and language of their paper is fully understandable by journal editors and reviewers, limit the use of passive voice, avoid excess words, and use bias-free language (https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/bias-free-language/)

Types of Submissions
For papers reporting original research:

- State the primary objective and any hypothesis tested;

- Describe the research design and the reason for adopting that methodology;

- State the methods and procedures employed, including the tools and the central experimental interventions; 

- State the main outcomes and results, including relevant data; 

- State the conclusions that might be drawn from these data and results, including their implications for future research or practice.

For review papers

- State the primary objective of the review;

- Present reasoning behind your literature selection;

- Describe the way you critically analyze the literature;

- State the main outcomes and results, including relevant data; 

Tables and Figures
Up to six tables and/or figures(black and white is preferred) may be included.
Inclusion of tables and/or figures exceeding the limits for publication may be discussed prior to submission.

All tables and figures must be checked for accuracy before submission.

All figure files should be submitted on a separate file with high resolution (i.e., png, cdx, eps, tif, tiff).

Title page and Abstract
All manuscripts must include an abstract of no more than 200 words.
List up to five keywords or brief phrases at the bottom of the abstract that describe the contents of the manuscript to help readers find your article via online searches. 
Acknowledgements
Any acknowledgements and details pertaining to nonfinancial support must be included at the end of the text before the references. Individuals who contributed to the research with support and assistance may be listed. 
Funding
All funding sources for the work, including research grants, should be identified in a separate “Funding” statement. If there are any conflicts with a funding agency, we urge you to contact and discuss your situation with the Editor at specare@ewha.ac.kr or the editorial office at journal@komtea.org

References must conform with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th ed.).

Proofs

 After acceptance, a PDF file of page proofs will be sent to the corresponding author by email. It is the author’s responsibility to check the proofs with particular attention to typographical errors and return them to the journal office via email by the date indicated. Significant changes to the manuscript, other than typesetting corrections, will only be accepted at the editor’s discretion and may incur a fee if excessive changes are made. 

Offprints

 Offprints can be ordered by the corresponding author. Overseas authors requiring copies of offprints are required to pay the additional cost for international shipping. Please contact the journal office for further information at journal@komtea.org
